Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

The short version: we collect what it takes to match you with guys nearby and keep meetups reliable and safe. Your location is rounded to about 1 km, we never ask for your home address, faith and politics are optional and only you can see them, and we never ask about race or ethnicity. No ads, no tracking tools, and we don't sell your data. You can delete your account in the App at any time.

This policy covers the Mandemic app ("the App"), provided by Golden Home Project, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). The App is currently in a beta on iPhone through Apple's TestFlight.

1. What we collect

When you sign up

Your level. Optionally, for each activity, your own rating of your level and how you like to play (for fun, keep score, or to win). You rate yourself, and only you can see it.

Optional, sensitive information. If you choose to answer the "What matters to you" screen, we collect your faith and political leaning and how much each matters to you. We ask for your permission first, only you can see your answers, we use them only for matching, and you can remove them at any time.

Location.

What you do in the App. Plans you post or join, your crews, chat messages, check-ins, cancellations, "life happens" passes, your reliability history and any disputes, who has been marked paid on a plan with a cost, your private answers after a meetup, and reports or blocks you make.

Payment handles. If you run plans with a cost, the Venmo, Cash App or PayPal.me names you choose to add.

Your device. If you allow notifications, your phone's push notification token, so we can send you notifications. Plan reminders are scheduled on your phone itself.

Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs, such as IP addresses and times, to run and secure the service.

What we do not collect: your race or ethnicity, your home address, your contacts, your photos, payment card or bank details, or your activity in other apps and websites. The App has no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and no crash-reporting service. If you add a plan to your phone's calendar, the App only adds the event; it does not read your calendar.

2. How we use it

After a meetup. The App may ask "How was it?" Your answers are private: no one else sees them, including the guys you met. "More with this group?" is a small signal in crew matching. "The level was…" is used only to suggest you adjust your own level.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

3. What other members see

Your email address, your location, your faith and politics answers, your levels, your free times, your answers after meetups, and the details of your score history are never shown to other members. The App does not show other members your birth year, or your kids, drinking or vibe answers.

If you block someone, you won't see each other's plans, profiles or messages, and he isn't told.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the App. They handle your information to provide their service to us:

When you tap a Venmo, Cash App or PayPal link to pay a share, you leave the App and that company's privacy policy applies. We receive no payment information from them. If you add a plan to Google Calendar or Outlook.com, the plan's details are passed to that site.

When you report someone, the person who reviews the report sees it, along with the message or plan it's about.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith it is needed to protect someone's safety.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. Your reliability score counts only your last 6 months (at most 20 events), though your history stays visible to you. Queued notifications are deleted after 7 days. A browse city is used for 14 days. If an account is suspended or given a strike, we keep a record of it. Strikes count against an account for 12 months.

When you delete your account, it is deleted right away, along with your profile, area, answers, levels, plans you organized (and their chats), your RSVPs, crew memberships, messages you sent, check-ins, reliability history, payment handles and notification tokens. Reports you filed are kept for safety, without your name on them.

6. Security

Your information is encrypted in transit. Database rules limit who can read what. No system is perfectly secure, so if you ever believe your account has been compromised, email us right away.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your information. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever they live, and won't treat you differently for making one.

8. Adults only

Mandemic is for adults 18 and older. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.

9. Where your data is stored

Mandemic is operated from the United States, and your information is stored in the United States.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the current version is always published here.
